A Minute in the Life of My Cat

A Minute in the Life of My Cat was written for Leopoldo Erice for a special piano event at the University of Ottawa held on March 21, 2025. Each of four composers at the University, Frédéric Lacroix, Robert Rival, Kelly-Marie Murphy and myself, were asked to write a one minute piece as part of a celebration of recent music. These pieces were played as a suite by Leo. My piece is almost exactly one minute long. It is lively and, hopefully, unpredictable.
